Doctoral studies in Earthquake Engineering

The University of Iceland, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, is offering a three year grant for PhD studies in Earthquake Engineering.

Description: We are currently recruiting students for our PhD Program in Earthquake Engineering. Open for applications is now a three year grant for studies of inelastic behaviour of structures subjected to earthquake action.  It is expected that students can graduate after three years of full time studies. The grant and the attached position are available immediately.

Requirement: MS degree in an engineering discipline (or BS degree in an engineering discipline plus a MS degree in other discipline). Good mastery of verbal and written English language. Previous teaching experience is desirable (but not required). All applicants must meet the minimum requirements set by the University of Iceland.
