OF  IRREGULAR   AND  COMPLEX  STRUCTURES

Held  under  the  auspices  of EAEE Task Group (TG) 8

‘Seismic  Behaviour  of  Irregular  and Complex  Structures’

 

 

Topics to be covered:

 

Asymmetric single storey buildings

Asymmetric multistorey buildings (frames, walls, wall-frames)

Vertically irregular structures

Setback multistorey buildings

Seismically isolated and controlled asymmetric structures

Particular cases of irregularity in structures

 

 

The Workshop will focus particularly on nonlinear response and experimental results. Special attention will be given to studies related to seismic code provisions for irregular structures. Papers in these areas are especially welcome.

 

Those interested in participating are invited to send (preferably by e-mail) until December 31, 2001. a tentative title and a short abstract (say 300 words) of their submission to:
